Miami-Dade County Community Portal (US county portal of the year 2004)
The Miami-Dade county portal is a good example for integration of community services in a customer and service oriented portal. It still lacks usefull community collaboration services but encourages interactions with the county authorities.
Silent No Longer - Israel/Palestina grass root community portal
